Start of the year 2008, for on-campus primary students
Year 1 BTchLn
Meet outside the College Office, off Dovedale Avenue, at 9.00 am on Monday 25 February. You will then be directed to Lecture Theatre 2 (L2). Your two week introduction to teacher education is a compulsory part of the programme.
Year 2 BTchLn
Check the notice boards at the bottom of the Tower Block at 8.45 for a 9.00 am start on Monday 11 February. In the first week you will be timetabled for curriculum intensives and noho marae.

Noho Marae (Year 2)
Year Two Noho Marae are in the first week back. Please make arrangements for childcare in advance. You will stay on a local marae overnight. The venue is to be confirmed. Most students have indicated that they will provide their own transport or share transport. Two College minivans will also be available to transport students.
Groups A and B – Tuesday February 12
Noho marae briefing in Wheki 150 at 9am, depart for marae at 9.30am Tuesday & finish at the marae 11am on Wednesday.
Group E – Wednesday February 13
Noho marae briefing in Wheki 150 at 9am, depart for marae at 9.30am Wednesday and finish at the marae 11am Thursday.
Groups C & D – Thursday February 14
Noho marae briefing in Wheki 150 at 9am, depart for marae at 9.30am Thursday and finish at the marae 11am Friday.

Mathematics
All 2008 EDMS262 students need to purchase a 'Numeracy Project Assessment Kit' from UBS (University Bookshop) on the Ilam campus. These kits can be found in bins beside the education text tables downstairs in UBS. They cost $23.50 (-10% student discount). You must bring this kit to the first day of your EDMS262 Intensive programme (11-15 February) so please ensure you have bought it by this time.
Year 3 BTchLn
Check the notice boards at the bottom of the Tower Block at 8.45 for a 9.00 am start on Monday 18 February. In the first two weeks you will be timetabled mainly for Professional Studies, in preparation for your Professional Practice, beginning 3 March.
