The twice-yearly publication of the journal Talespinner is significant for the Children's Literature staff, students and alumni. It contains contributions from a wide range of specialists in children's literature and is also an avenue for the publication of research produced in partial fulfilment of the Diploma in Children's Literature.
Talespinner is available by subscription for a minimal cost to ensure research is widely available for both parents and professionals. Each issue attempts to encompass that the needs and interests of parents and professional across the educational sectors (from early childhood learning centres to the secondary schools) are met.
